  18.     Dont' just look at connect rates though.  I just recently got a
  19. Cardinal, and I've found that it runs at a rather high error rate, and as
  20. a result the speed of a 28.8 connection with this Cardinal is about the
  21. same as the speed of a 26.4 connection with any other modem I've used (and
  22. no, the modem did not fall-back, it would always stay at 28.8 throughout
  23. the connection).
